I firmly believe that learning should be enjoyable - and that it will be much more productive if it is! With this in mind, I focus on sparking a genuine interest in the subject while also helping you prepare for exams if that’s your goal. About Me
A graduate of St Anne's College (Oxford) I am a teacher with 7 years experience teaching Latin, Ancient History, and Classical Civilisation across the UK, Australia, and internationally. My teaching experience encompasses a variety of academic levels GCSE, A-Level, IB, VCE, as well as Oxbridge entrance preparation. I’m passionate about working with students at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I particularly enjoy helping those just starting out with Latin—it's one of my favourite aspects of teaching!

My Teaching Journey
After completing my degree, I spent four years teaching at an English boarding school before moving to France to teach, and later relocating to Australia where I have worked at two prestigious APS schools in Melbourne. Throughout this time, I’ve gained extensive experience with students from diverse academic backgrounds, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods to meet individual needs effectively.

I have a genuine passion for grammar and a deep enthusiasm for making learning engaging. I strive to make every lesson as interactive and enjoyable as possible, with the goal of fostering a love for the subjects I teach. I believe that when students are engaged, they truly excel. My goal is to create a supportive and stimulating environment where students feel confident to explore and ask questions.

I also work with younger students aged 7 and up, confidently guiding learners from preparatory levels through to university students.
